Well, as you now know I'm being quite ambitious with my personal 2012 resolutions this year... time to move on to making resolutions for my kids!
Joking aside, I think this will be quite reasonable. During December, all three of us enjoyed doing our Advent devotions at breakfast each morning. I decided to carry on using this devotional, The Divine Hours by Phyllis Tickle. You can read daily samples here. It's actually quite perfect for kids--we read some verses, repeat some aloud together, sing, and say a few quick prayers. My two year old gets restless, but she gets restless during Sesame Street, so there's not much I can do there. My four-year-old says almost daily, "Wow, Mommy, that's beautiful!" after reading the Psalms together. And she's right. It's a good way to start the day.

A very good way to start the day!
Oh, I love it! And, Violet's so right; the Psalms are beautiful. Tell her Nana thinks so, too.
That's inspiring! What a wonderful way to start the day.
We have a book 'Little Visits With God' that was my hubbies when he was little that I read to the boys each (ok most) mornings. I used to read it to them at night after the bible story but decided to switch to the morning. It has been such a blessing to me!
Thanks, everyone!
Adrienne, that's so cool that you have you're husband's childhood book!
